This book is ultimately a lovers to strangers/enemies, to lovers again. The main characters Lilly and Daniel had so much history with one another that it ended up hurting them. they were both so afraid of breaking each others hearts that they ended up breaking their own and leaving their relationship gone with the start of the summer. No matter how they couldn't get over one another though. they tried dating other people and making one another feel as though they don't care but nothing helped their case, they were always drawn back to thoughts about the other one. as school rounds back around they are both afraid of what will happen when they see one another again. will they stay strangers or will they finally be in each others arms again.
