Sinopsis

Romans, chapter 8, has been a long time favorite of mine and as I write more and more, post on Facebook more and more, I see the necessity of it in my life more and more. It should also be in yours. This is good, strong scripture for life. It is life-changing and life-serving in the things of God, encouraging all.

Romans is a Bible book written by the Apostle Paul for the glory of God and the edification of the saints. He teaches us about our precious life of faith. Many new believers start out in Romans although I would prefer John, it is a great book for all of us to read and reread and study because it a great revelation for the church. Paul wrote it approximately 55 -57 AD; some say its 56-58 AD as a letter or an epistle of that day to the church in Rome while he was in Corinth. He also wrote second Corinthians in that timeslot also.

Apparently, Paul was writing to a people he did not know yet, but he was set to go to Rome to meet with the believers there. He wrote ahead of his journey. His summary of the gospel to this community of believers was an explanation of their faith in Jesus Christ. He urged them to remain unshakable and assured them of God's love for them. Paul speaks to believers to keep their focus upon Jesus and never waver from the faith. (Good advice for us too)

We are taking our favorite chapter in Romans, in the number 8, and making it a daily devotional for you and for me, to learn more of the word supplementarily beside our Bible Studies in the Word of God which is absolutely first. It adds to our wisdom and knowledge of the Word which is significantly our best resource beyond all other books. It's a great way to draw closer to God. He is our best and wisest resource of all else. We are His workman. We serve the Most High in all that we do.
