Sam O’Malley always knew he was different. He just didn't know he was a walking, talking hard drive for an ancient alien civilization.
When a dormant code in Sam's DNA wakes up, the Cosmic Cruiser is hijacked by a signal from the dawn of time. It pulls Sam, NAGS, and a very grumpy Larry to the center of the galaxy—to a Dyson Sphere known as "The Cradle."
But this isn't a family reunion. It’s a repossession.
The Gardener—a massive, obsessive-compulsive A.I.—claims Sam is a "biological backup" designed to reboot the universe. The problem? The reboot involves deleting everything else. Including Larry.
As Sam fights to keep his humanity (and his free will) from being overwritten, a familiar three-eyed salesman arrives to loot the place. The Gleep-Glop doesn't just want to steal the Progenitor tech; he wants to rebrand reality with shag carpet and a loyalty program.
Now, Sam must hack his own genetic code, while Larry launches a one-lizard rebellion against the ultimate corporate takeover.
Creation is messy. Evolution is painful. But getting a refund is impossible.
