Darsha is known across the land as the Flower Bard. She makes her living singing and telling jokes in taverns, theatres, festivals, and anywhere that has enough coin to pay her. She only has one rule. . . never stay in one place for longer than two days.

Snarl is a wizard who has tucked herself away from the world for a century, living in a flying palace and keeping watch over a hibernating, powerful creature. She's done nothing but study magic and watch her heart shrivel more each day as the dangerous sorcery she practices threatens to twist her into something else entirely.

But everything changes when Darsha is cursed by the Bone Witch to float up into the sky. Believing she's going to die, Darsha instead finds herself bumping into the bottom of a flying palace.
