Randall Mercer has built his life on control. As a successful corporate executive from Toronto, his days are ruled by schedules, meetings, deadlines, and carefully calculated decisions. But when his Porsche breaks down in the tiny town of Oakhaven, his perfectly ordered world grinds to an unexpected halt.
Stranded for the weekend, Randall finds himself reluctantly depending on the very people he would normally dismiss-the warmhearted owner of a small bakery, the sleepy-town diner, and, most dangerously, Glen Dawson, the calm, infuriatingly handsome local police officer who first pulled him over for speeding.
Their first encounters are anything but romantic.
Glen sees through Randall's expensive suit and polished defenses, while Randall can't decide whether he wants to argue with the man or keep finding reasons to stand beside him. But somewhere between shared coffee, quiet walks, a creekside bridge, and conversations that become increasingly personal, irritation gives way to attraction-and attraction to something neither man expected.

Acerca del autor
Born and raised in small-town Ontario, Frank Sol is a die-hard romantic who enjoys home-cooked dinners, homemade wine, lots of chocolate, and a lot of sex.
He published his first novel, Bareback Mountain in 2007. He lives a double life, writing gay erotica under the pen name of Frank Sol and penning tales of science fiction space operas and high fantasy for fun as Matt Kirkby. When not busy writing, he spends his time helping his partner with his hand-crafted rocking chair business -- Off Your Rocker -- and trying to maintain some control over his cat.
