Destinationless Giò - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Giò is a formidable airline pilot, a phenomenon, but inside him there is a torment that drives him towards self-destruction; the past echoes through his childhood memories, where a wolf and a horse fight a battle that will have no winners, while his present is divided between work and cocaine use.

When he meets Greta, the young girlfriend of a member of a gang of thugs, Giò sees a chance for redemption; but his past, made up of operations in the wake of the "Italian Mysteries" and connections with the secret services, will end up nailing him to a reality of isolation.

Between unspeakable sins and the desire to protect those he loves, Giò is forced to choose loneliness: his journey, now as aimless as the flights he can no longer take, will lead him to an ending as bitter as it is inevitable.

"Gio' senza meta" is a profound novel that intertwines vices and virtues, politics and introspection. A story for those who seek contemporary fiction that delves into the depths.
