Sinopsis

Allison Sommersby, a 35-year-old woman, has a celebrity crush on actor Eric Broune.

Her infatuation with him leads to endless scrolling on Instagram. Her belief that he has feelings for her but is unable to express them in public drives her to seek acknowledgement from tarot readers on YouTube. She becomes so obsessed that her scrolling and the YouTube videos consume her daily life.

To avoid unnecessary comments from her friend Miriam, she pretends to have a renewed love interest in an old boyfriend, Mike. She creates a fake Instagram account to follow her obsession and deceive her friends.

Allison receives messages from scam accounts attempting to trick her into believing Eric Broune wants to connect with her.
