Enrico is the driver for the Beluga nightclub, a shady establishment tucked away in the alleys near Genoa’s port. His job is to escort drunken sailors back to their ships, but outside his car, the streets are a battleground for rival drug lords who wouldn’t think twice about pulling the trigger.

But Enrico’s past is nothing like his present. Memories of a different life creep into his thoughts, filled with regret and longing for what is forever lost. As he gets entangled in the world of crime, drawn in by a sailor trafficking small amounts of cocaine, Enrico realizes he’s surprisingly adept at navigating this dark underworld. Yet he is haunted by the idea that he’s struck a deal with the devil himself.

As a drug deal turns into a moment of reckoning, Enrico is caught between the light and the darkness-between the glow of the port’s iconic Lantern, a symbol of strength and virtue, and the shadows that have taken root inside him. Will he confront his inner demons, or will the darkness consume him entirely?
