Like Stephan’s previous book Until We Meet Again, the book is also based on an adventure packed with suspense and drama that captures the dangers and experiences of nineteen-year-old Douglas Harold. Innocently drawn into the deceit and dirty tricks manipulated by the superpowers and wealthy businessmen in their quest for control of Africa.

This adventure sees the two most unlikely people whose paths would ever cross, met under the most daring life-threatening circumstances on a now or never mission.

About the author

Born and raised in the Eastern Cape on the foothills of Stormberg in 1957, Stephan Swart spent most of his childhood exploring the rivers, mountains and caves around his hometown of Burgersdorp. Before his 18th birthday, he qualified as a paratrooper with the South African Army and returned home more than a year later as a seasoned combat soldier.

His international career as engineer and project manager combined with the military experience gained as a paratrooper and keen interest in African politics and history made Stephan decide to put pen to paper.

It wasn’t until the first COVID-19 lockdown that he decided to start writing seriously and took the opportunity to incorporate the stories with his vivid imagination.
