Sinopsis

Daniel Wilder felt like a starved animal approaching a baited trap, but he had to return to Glen Park. He had to know if his friends and the people he knew were holding him in contempt for something he could barely remember. He woke up in the VA hospital with a hole in his memory. He could see it, Brown Sugar, his tantalizing Army Psychologist could see it, but only Daniel could fill it in with the facts. He remembered leaving Julie in his apartment and he remembered joining the Army, but he could not recall anything in between. The Army erased his personality, Viet Nam had altered it. Los Angeles and UCLA had polished it. But it was Detective Shaw who had inadvertantly filled the gap in his memory. All Daniel Wilder wanted was to be an ordinary man. All of the rest of his life depended on it.
