To the many intercessors around the world, those who hold prayer meetings in their homes, those who pray for the nations, cover leaders in churches, pray for the sick and less fortunate, those who will pray both privately and publicly without shame or embarrassment, I honor you. You are a treasure. There are many books written on prayer, and I thank God for each author who took the time to write and encourage every person to pray. Just like the Bible, this book is an inspiration from the Holy Spirit, and He knows best why He has placed the desire in my heart to write one as well. I humbly say, “Thank You, Jesus,” for allowing me to serve Him in the capacity of authorship.

To every person who touches and purchases this book, I pray that you will receive what the Holy Spirit has to share. As you flip through the pages, you will hear my journey and you will hear the heart of the Father concerning prayer, using both scriptures and some of my life experiences. I pray this book will give each reader a fresh and greater desire to, “Pray
without ceasing” (KJV, 1 Thessalonians 5:17). I am praying that you will fall in love and marry prayer. The more I write
and study the scriptures, as an author, my appetite for more prayer increases. My tastebuds are getting excited to receive
the most important meal on my meal plan: prayer. It is my prayer and desire that the Word of God, along with this book,
will stir a greater desire and hunger for prayer in you. I believe the Holy Spirit is going to bring forth a greater desire
to press deeper and deeper into prayer. Even when you are full, you will still want more, and release a desire that you
cannot ever let remain on empty but will be fueled up daily in prayer. I liken it to a Thanksgiving dinner. You cannot wait
to try all the food that was prepared. Your heart is set on something specific, and you know the person in your family o the world. If no one has ever said, “Thank you,” please know that I know you exist, and that we desperately need your prayers and intercession.
