Toy building blocks are the base to build something by thinking about what you want to make and then discovering, or following instructions previously written by someone who learned how to make what you want to do.
We begin our journey with toy building blocks so that children can understand the steps to building something.
So, what connects toy blocks to the dinosaurs or the human body?
We transfer the same path into how living organisms were made.
Somehow, without being alive, minerals, water, and oxygen came into an agreement to form cells.
Then cells came into an agreement where some cells would become the outside (skin) of a larger being, others would form the circulatory system (to take oxygen and food to all cells), digestive system (to break food so all cells could get what they needed to live), central nervous system (so cells could communicate), skeletal system (so that the being could stand according to the gravitational force of the planet), respiratory system (so that all cells could get oxygen internally), muscular system (so that the being could move), lymphatic system (so it could fight diseases), and more.
Cells also had to define the size of each system, organ, and limb so that the being could function.
All living beings are made of chemicals, as we saw in Book 1; therefore, all cells are made of chemicals with no life.
In our journey, we discover what allows the chemicals to form living cells, organs, and beings.
