The Lighthouse Secret (The Island Files) - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

Lighthouse keeper Henri Lescaut is found dead in his cottage at Cap des Aigrettes. A late-night sighting seems to place him in the tower shortly before he was found. But the witness saw no face.
Henri had been asking questions about an island rescue: who went out in the launch, when the harbour was told, and why a photograph came to tell a different story.
Inspector Maya Rivière follows the physical evidence while former journalist Adrian Morel traces the public record. A folded note, conflicting departure times and a message kept among family papers reveal what Henri was trying to correct.
To establish what happened in the cottage, they must separate a remembered figure from a living man, and a cherished story from the evidence behind it.
