On the Edge: 13 Short Stories (Short Stories by Noel Spence) - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

On The Edge is Noel Spence’s third collection of short stories. As in Secrets and Lies and Luck, most of the stories here explore the behaviour of people under extraordinary pressure, people in situations, as often as not of their own making, who are experiencing excessive mental or emotional stress.

It is this psychological focus that characterises the majority of the thirteen tales and gives the collection its title. Whether a tale of malign ghostly influence, or one of obsessive inner compulsion, each story takes its protagonist, and hopefully the reader, down the less trodden paths of the human psyche, the very edge of the mind.
