BLACK & WHITE EDITION
The Decision Room is a solo World War II strategy gamebook built around seven intelligence missions.
Instead of taking the role of a soldier on the battlefield, you work behind the scenes with the kind of information that commanders and intelligence officers had to make sense of: field reports, maps, intercepted messages, reconnaissance photographs, transport records, coded signals, and sometimes two sources that seem to contradict each other.
Each mission gives you a different problem to solve. You might have to work out where a movement is heading, decide whether a source can be trusted, judge whether unusual activity is genuine or deliberate deception, or make a decision before all the information you would like to have is available.
There are no dice and no armies to move. You read the evidence, decide what you think it supports, and then see how your assessment holds up as more information becomes available. A reasonable conclusion can turn out to have been based on the wrong assumption, while a small detail that seemed unimportant at first may become significant later.
The seven missions are designed to be played in order, with each one approaching intelligence analysis from a different angle. The challenge is not simply to find a hidden clue or guess the answer the book wants. It is to decide how far the evidence really allows you to go.
If you enjoy World War II history, intelligence work, military decision-making, deduction, or games that reward careful reading rather than luck, The Decision Room offers a different kind of solo experience.
The war is history. The decisions are yours.
This Black & White Edition contains the complete game and all seven missions.
