Sinopsis

Medium Blues in the down-home tradition. A medium swinging blues that opens with a short vamp figure. The theme is stated contrapuntally leading to the first ensemble figure which is a send-off to the bass solo. Similar ensemble material is then used as a send-off for the alto solo (optional written solos are provided for both soloists). The opening vamp material is then used for the final ensemble before the restatement of the theme. Instrumentation : big band
