Mohamed Bangura is an alumnus and a full-time lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Social Work, Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. He teaches and writes in the areas of Religion, Social Stratification,Social Research, Industrial Sociology and Organizational Behaviour. He is the Secretary General Academic Staff Association (ASA -FBC 2016) and author of the Poet's Corner in the now defunct Evening Scoop Newspaper in Sierra Leone. His first poems in a local newspaper was “Ask for It” and “What Are We Doing” which appeared in Evening Scoop in 2006. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone
