It focuses on guiding students through creative problem-solving and on teaching them to apply their knowledge in a wide variety of scenarios rather than rote memorization of mathematical facts. It is aimed at, but not limited to, high-performing middle school students and goes further in depth and teaches new concepts not otherwise taught in traditional public schools.

Vinod Krishnamoorthy has won individual awards at many regional, US national, and international mathematics competitions, such as the AMC8/10, MathCounts, Math Field Day, Math Kangaroo, Math Olympiad, and the World Math Team Competition. In his spare time, he teaches aspiring mathematicians.
