Sinopsis
Teaching text types in the Singapore Primary Classroom covers texts for academic and functional purposes which prepare pupils for the pragmatic use of language in everyday life. It also offers texts that demonstrate creative and personal expression, which will help to spark passion for reading in young learners.
This book provides teachers with useful information for teaching the different types of texts as spelt out in the English Language Syllabus 2001 and 2010.
