Sinopsis
The common thread of the contributions collected here is an infrared approach to pressing problems in quantum field theory. Both high and low energy physics are represented, with much emphasis on QCD (Gribov horizons, infrared models, semiclassical applications, and effective Lagrangians). Other fields of interest are thermal infrared singularities, soft Pomeron physics, eikonal scattering phenomenology and the physics of bound states.

This workshop is more than a collection of presentations on a narrow topic of high current interest. It brings together some 85 research physicists working on a variety of subjects in quantum physics, which can be gathered together under the umbrella of quantum infrared physics. A total of approximately 75 speakers have presented descriptive summaries of their latest research, whose common thread is an infrared approach to the most modern and pressing subjects of quantum field theory.
