Founded in 2018, I IN Inc. is an internationally acclaimed Tokyo-based design firm. I IN pursues the world of modern luxury within a wide range of spatial design fields, including retail, restaurants, offices, residences and installations. The design process begins by delving into clients’ mindsets and understanding their core values to identify intrinsic elements of their individuality. Communicating with clients and collaborators contributes to interiors that bring new brilliance and experiential values to light, colour, materials and gravity. In reawakening the senses to these universal and intangible design elements, I IN Inc. creates inspired spaces that evoke a new vision of richness for the world of the future – one grounded in the sublime beauty of its interiors.

However, these spaces are far from cold or impersonal. Rounded structures and curved corners instantly make visitors feel at ease. Fluid lines are soothing to the eye. Warm colours, often derived from natural materials, welcome people and invite them to linger. The colour gradient in I IN's oeuvre deserves special mention. By enriching surfaces, gradients suggest the radiant presence of concealed light sources, adding depth to the space. Peeling back another layer reveals what could be termed I IN's secret ingredient: The studio's use of light. Soft, often natural, lighting shapes space and enhances the spatial experience.
