G. Shanker Rao has been teaching mathematics to undergraduate and postgraduate students for more than three decades. Formerly, he was the Head, Department of Mathematics, Government Girraj P.G. College, Nizamabad. Presently, he is working at College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
