Bry'anna Michal is an avid researcher in the studies of Africana Diaspora, graduating from a Historically Black University with degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies concentrated in Africana Studies and History as well as English. When she isn't writing, Bry'anna works in education, advocating the importance of employing knowledge as a tool to advance in life and combat discrimination. What's Swept Under the Rug is her debut poetry book.
