Sinopsis

The earth is home to an enormous diversity of flora and fauna. Their habitats and behaviours are different. There are still many plant and animal species to be found. The majority of Indian universities' undergraduate and graduate programs in zoology have welcomed the addition of "Animal Taxonomy" Classification and Systematics to their curricula. Because they are either too detailed or too comprehensive, the standard texts that are currently available that were produced by foreign writers do not meet the demands of Indian students. They are also not curriculum-based. This inspired the writers to try writing a book of this kind in accordance with Indian university syllabi. There are five chapters covering the subject area. The last chapters cover various facets of museology, whereas the first five chapters mostly address the concepts of Animal Taxonomy. The section on museology is thought to be beneficial for people who want to run their own independent museums. Long, short, multiple-choice questions and important facts to remember are included at the end of each chapter. A brief bibliography is included at the end of the book.
