Sinopsis

Khair-ul-Quruun refers to the period when the Hereafter prevailed over every behavior. When the world was the most despised thing, when the pleasure and knowledge of Allah was the only life, the enjoyment of the world was the least. No one was wandering in search of development, worldliness, pleasures and comforts, everyone was proud of the independent life of poverty. The people of that era did not consider the enjoyment of the world to be right like the infidels, and they were not greedy for a life of luxury. They were only eager for the hereafter and were busy in the struggle to surpass each other in it. This book defines the concept of that precious era termed as 'Khair-ul-Quruun'

خیر القرون سے مراد وہ دور ہے جب آخرت ہر رویے پر غالب تھی۔ جب دنیا سب سے حقیر شے تھی، جب اللہ کی رضا اور معرفت ہی حاصل زندگی تھی دنیا سے تمتع کم سے کم تھا۔ کوئی ترقی ، دنیا طلبی، لذات و آسائش کی تلاش میں سرگرداں نہیں تھا فقر کی خود اختیاری زندگی پر سب کو فخر تھا۔ اُس دور کے لوگ کفار کی طرح دنیا سے تمتع کو درست نہیں سمجھتے تھے اور عیش و عشرت کی زندگی کے طالب اور حریص نہ تھے۔ وہ صرف اور صرف آخرت کے حریص تھے اور اس میں ایک دوسرے سے آگے بڑھ جانے کی تگ و دو میں مصروف رہتے تھے۔ جو آخرت کو ترجیح دے گا وہ دنیا کا نقصان کرے گا جو دنیا کو ترجیح دے گا وہ لازماً آخرت کا نقصان کرے گا یہ ارشاد رسالت مآب صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہے۔
