People who do not have economy as their optional can depend on this book. It gives a lucid and clear understanding of terminology in economics simultaneously dealing with Indian Economy. One has to read this book along with NCERT text book for a comprehensive and confident preparation in Economy. --Pravimal Abhishek Sep 17, 2011
Friends, don't listen to what others say about the book. If economy is not your optional, simply go for it. it is enough for CSE - GSP and GSM. One need not to become an expert in economics. Just what u need is the basics. And this book covers all the topics. If u want further explanation and clarity on any topics, refer mrunal or google it. And supplement it with yojana, kurukshetra, economic survey, IYB. --Ranjith Jul 22, 2014
Though I was skeptical to buy TMG at first [due to end number of blunders in its CSAT books], I guess I won this hand in the gamble. An awesome book, with clear facts & figures [no option other than to rely on them]; and written in a very simple manner. Includes Census 2011, a recommended book for General Studies portion of Civil Service Examinations. --Amardip Sanan Mar 20, 2012
