The task of the tripartite Committee on Freedom of Association is to deal with complaints of infringement of freedom of association submitted to it either by governments or by organizations of employers or workers. Since its establishment 44 years ago, the Committee has dealt with more than 1,800 cases, and in so doing has built up a corpus of decisions and principles on the subject. This digest brings together these decisions and principles in concise form for easy reference.
