Per il quarto anno consecutivo Sebastian Vettel si è aggiudicato il Campionato del Mondo Piloti. Lo ha fatto con ben 13 vittorie (su 19 gare!) di cui 9 consecutive, dal Gran Premio del Belgio a quello del Brasile. Solo Raikkonen, Alonso, Rosberg e Hamilton hanno saputo, in sporadiche occasioni, prevalere sul "campionissimo" tedesco che, ovvio, ha anche permesso alla Red Bull di riconfermarsi ai vertici fra i Costruttori. Sul piano tecnico, il Mondiale 2013 è vissuto su una certa stabilità anche se non sono mancate novità come l'abolizione dello "scalino" sui musi delle monoposto, l'eliminazione del doppio DRS o l'adozione del semiasse carenato da parte della Ferrari. Giorgio Piola was born in Genoa in 1948 and since 1969 he has been a journalist and television commentator on all Formula One World Championships. Since 1994, he has been the author of the book "Formula One Technical Analysis," in which he analyses the evolution of the cars year-by-year.
