Selected work of the internationally acclaimed young South African artist Candice Breitz, exhibited at the MUSAC from January 20th to May 2nd, 2007. This publication highlights Breitz's contributions to the contemporary art arena, where mass media culture is de-constructed and re-constructed for a better defined and more direct new realm. Over the last decade, Candice Breitz has been probing, translating, re-mixing and editing the codes and icons of contemporary media culture and the language of the entertainment industry.
