These days the panorama of the design of home interiors is dominated by the highly interesting results created by author architecture. Based on this creative concept, new technologies have monopilized a determining role making it possible to fulfill the desire of owners and the caprices of some architects. Today, private residences possess an infinite range of designers thanks to the wide variety of materials and the ecological revolution which make the incorporation of new architectural elements possible. Then again, both furniture design and chromatism are important in reflecting the personality of the owners and thus clarifying their tastes and preferences. This book includes a selection of contemporary international homes combining both traditional spaces and the new and revolutionary concepts of the home. The constructions in this book exist in both urban and rural spaces, thus opening up another research route: the integration of the house into the surrounding environment.
