Wang Shaoqiang es profesor y coordinador de grado en la Academia de Bellas Artes de la Ciudad de Cantón (China). Autor y editor prolífico de obras sobre diseño internacional, arquitectura, branding, comunicación, tendencias y cultura, es editor de la revista Design 360º y del anuario Asia-Pacific Design. Profesor invitado en numerosas universidades, academias de diseño y organizaciones, ha sido miembro de los jurados de los premios de diseño e ilustración más prestigiosos de China. Asimismo, Wang es director del Museo de Arte de la provincia de Cantón y profesor y supervisor de doctorados de la Escuela de Arte y Humanidades de la Universidad de Ciencia y Tecnología de Macao.
