Some of the most innovative examples of architecture on the go.
We live in a world in movement, and this is reflected in what we build and how we live and work. There is a new need to analyze the challenges that architects and designers face in creating spaces that can be rapidly constructed, taken down and even relocated. This book reveals the cutting-edge techniques that allow static architectural forms to go mobile through a broad selection of examples of portable architecture that will capture the reader’s attention and imagination. An up-to-date and comprehensive work on the subject, this publication is an in-depth compilation of one of the newest areas in architecture. It covers a wide range of possibilities within the field and, at the same time, provides a unique fusion of creative design, adaptability and sustainability.
