Acerca de los autores
Space Popular es una práctica dirigida por Lara Lesmes y Fredrik Hellberg, ambos graduados en la Architectural Association de Londres (2011). Fundada en Bangkok (2013) y con base en Londres desde 2016, ha desarrollado edificios, exposiciones, arte público, colecciones de muebles e interiores en Asia y Europa, así como arquitectura virtual inmersiva en Internet. Lesmes y Hellberg son profesores de proyectos arquitectónicos desde 2011, primero en INDA, Universidad de Chulalongkorn en Bangkok, y desde 2016 en la Architectural Association.
Simone C Niquille es una diseñadora e investigadora afincada en Amsterdam, Paises Bajos. Su práctica Technoflesh investiga la representación de la identidad y la digitalización de la biomasa en el espacio de apariencia en la red. Se graduó en Diseño Gráfico en la Escuela de Diseño de Rhode Island y finalizó el Máster en Estrategias Visuales del Sandberg Instituut Amsterdam. Enseña Investigación en Diseño en la ArtEZ University of the Arts Arnhem y es directora de Información en la Design Academy Eindhoven. En 2016 fue Fellow del Het Nieuwe Instituut Rotterdam.
Ibiye Camp es una artista afincada en Londres y profesora en el Royal College of Art. Su trabajo investiga cuestiones coloniales, tecnología y el entorno construido. Su práctica utiliza herramientas arquitectónicas para crear videos, realidad aumentada y objetos 3D. Sus proyectos en Sierra Leona, Nigeria y Etiopía han investigado dinámicas tecnológicas como medio para explorar los errores y las tensiones entre la infraestructura digital y el paisaje. En 2019, los proyectos de Ibiye se presentaron en la Bienal de Diseño de Porto y la Trienal de Arquitectura de Sharjah.
es Senior Design Curator en el Victoria and Albert Museum de Londres. Recientemente ha comisariado Cars: Accelerating the Modern World, una extensa exposición que investiga la historia del impacto del automóvil en el mundo moderno. Previamente comisarió A World of Fragile Parts en la Bienal de Arquitectura de Venecia de 2016 y Values of Design en la V&A Gallery-Design Society de Shenzhen.
Es arquitecto, Profesor Asociado en la Escuela de Arquitectura de la UTS y socio fundador de GFA y GFA2. Con base en Sydney (Austrialia) y Santander (España) su trabajo reciente cuestiona la dicotomía investigación vs. edificación e incluye diagramas, historias, exposiciones, películas, prototipos, viviendas y edificios públicos en todo el mundo.
