He has seventeen years of teaching experience in various colleges of Kerala under the University of Kerala and the University of Calicut. He is life member of Kalabharati Kathakali Academy, Thiruvananthapuram, South India American Studies Network; and Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. He was also a Resource person at State Council of Educational Research and Training, Govt. of Kerala.
