Sinopsis
The publication offers a selection of forty architectural projects carried out in eastern Slovakia at the beginning of the new Millennium. It represents a wide range of structures and offers a view of residential units, libraries, schools, religious buildings, galleries, sport centres and landscapes. The images are complemented with text profiles of the buildings and their positions on the map. The publication also includes a series of essays from four authors Tomáš Bujna, Pavol Mészáros, Robert Špacek and Zorán Vukoszávlyev.

Acerca del autor
Elena Alexy is an architect and publicist, long-term chief editor of the Atrium magazine un current affairs in architecture and design, and co-author of the concept and scripts of the TV documentary cycle A3UM about contemporary architecture in Slovakia. Her domain is editing and architectural journalism. Michal Burák promotes contemporary architecture of the Eastern Slovakia through projects such as The Urban Interventions Košice, The Inter-city interventions Košice-Prešov and The East Side Architecture – all initiated by him. Katrína Trnovská is an art historian and freelance curator of contemporary architecture and design. In 2005, she initiated the formation of an NGO called "just plug-in" with the intent of direct encouragement and promotion of young Slovak designers.
