Sinopsis

This is the wordless picture book by master picture book author Ivana*, who has been shortlisted for the International Hans Christian Andersen Award four times. In this book, 15 ordinary people of different identities, genders, ages, and skin colors compose a silent chorus that together tell a story about the universal destiny of mankind. The author gives each character a different interpretation of the same action: the man standing with his hands tied behind his back in one situation and holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands in another. Each person is important, each choice changes history, only good will can make the world a better place, only by joining hands can we have a life of peace and love.
