This book begins with a brief overview of the supervisory and imperial examination systems in the Qing dynasty, with a particular focus on regulations concerning the supervision of the examinations and the memorials submitted by supervisory officials on related matters. It then offers an in-depth examination of several major examination cases that were either exposed by supervisory officials or otherwise connected to them.
