Sinopsis

"To embrace life's harsh truths, yet choose courage for yourself again and again.

The whole book is set against the backdrop of the late Tang society, with Li Shangyin's survival in the midst of the struggle between the Niu and Li factions as the main thread, and his pursuit of steadfast love as the secondary thread. It interprets some of Li Shangyin's popular poems and uses a lyrical and elegant tone to describe his extraordinary and tragic experiences, delicately portraying the poet's life of ""passing through the mountains"", ""no place to return to in the four seas, no family to rely on"", poverty and wandering aimlessly.
