Sinopsis
《现代汉语词典》自1978年正式出版以来做过多次修订，以适应社会的发展，更好地反映现代汉语词汇新面貌，体现有关学科研究的新成果，落实国家有关语言文字方面的新规范。
本次修订，主要内容为：全面落实2013年6月由国务院公布的《通用规范汉字表》；增收近几年涌现的新词语400多条，增补新义近100项，删除少量陈旧和见词明义的词语；根据读者和专家意见对700多条词语的释义、举例等做了修订。
