In growing patients, myofunctional appliances like activators, bionators, and twin block appliances help modify growth and correct vertical discrepancies. In severe skeletal deep bite, especially in adults, combined orthodontic and surgical interventions may be required to achieve functional stability, periodontal health, and improved facial aesthetics.
