This book explored the extent and patterns of electronic resource utilization among fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Mental Health-Psychiatric students at Saint John of God College of Health Sciences in Mzuzu City. The aim of this study was to assess the impact of electronic resources on the academic and clinical competence of students in the field of mental health nursing. A quantitative research design was employed, combining quantitative surveys. The study population included all fourth-year mental health nursing students enrolled during the academic year. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires, that measured the frequency and types of electronic resources accessed, to gain insights into students’ perceptions and experiences. Preliminary findings indicate a significant reliance on electronic resources, including e-databases, e-journals, e-books, and OPAC. The majority of the students reported using electronic resources for literature reviews, research assignments, and research theses/dissertations.
