Sinopsis

Scholars in the ergonomics and the maintenance field of railway loco sheds have carried out work on various ergonomics and maintenance aspects. Their work has been reported through the various published articles. A systematic study of these works is carried out to review research for the solution of reduction of physical demands on the loco-shed workers. Many researchers have given recommendations for ergonomics design and mechanization of loco shed maintenance activities.
