Numerical studies of various nonlinear phenomena arising in an unusual vibro-impact system with a change in its parameters are carried out. Platform-vibrator with shock used in the construction industry for compacting and molding the concrete products is considered as an unusual vibro-impact system due its peculiarities. Much attention is paid to the creation of a mathematical model and its verification, as well as to the problem of soft impact simulation. The exciting frequency, the technological mass of the mold with concrete, and the stiffness parameters were chosen as control parameters. When these parameters were changed, many nonlinear phenomena unique to discontinuous systems were observed, namely, the chaotic motion, coexisting regimes that were watched in the hysteresis zone under different initial conditions, boundary and interior crises, intermittency, crisis-induced intermittency, transient chaos. To identify the received signals, common tools were used, as well as tools that are used less often, such as the fractal structure of Poincaré maps and wavelet characteristics. A lot of graphs and Tables accompanies the presentation.
