This book presents planning, design, and analysis procedure of a modern SCADA system for the purpose of electrical power distribution in Nineveh city. The procedure followed includes; suggesting a suitable wired network (Ethernet) topology to connect the system using cost-reliability optimization algorithm. Then the system is designed using Wireless Mesh Networking (WMN) network (and DSR as one of its protocols) as a wireless backup network in case of any server failure of the network system.
