Monitoring of machining processes is quite interesting and challenging part for the measurement and manufacturing domain. Acoustic Emission characterization is considered as an effective process monitoring technique as compared to other techniques. The prediction of surface roughness is analyzed by establishing neural network model with machining parameters and surface descriptors.
