The study area households are very much vulnerable to climate change because their livelihood resources are highly interconnected with agriculture and livestock which are highly exposed to the impact of climate change. in order to enhance their adaptive capacity first one should understand the effects, trends and causes of climate change on their livelihood resources. farmers in the study area are developing their own mechanism to react on the climate change. this mini study is conducted to know the hazards that is exist in the study area, to identify the livelihood resources those are significantly vulnerable to the change, to identify the farmers adaptation capacity to the changes and to develop the indigenous knowledge of farmers used as adaptation strategy and finally to scale up the good practices that is currently applying by the community in the operation area.
