Sinopsis
The book gives the formulation & algorithms (software) for the seismic analysis & design of structures using IS (Indian Standards) codes of practice. It is proposed to develop module-based programmes for the design of different components of the structure incorporating the provisions of relevant Indian standards. These developed software will be available on high performance systems to carry out large scale simulations. The work will help to improve the seismic design of buildings ,bridges, utilities & other infrastructures in the country by way of reducing the impacts of earthquakes.

Biografía del autor
Amit Sharma received his Bachelor degree in 2005 and Masters degree in 2008 from SGSITS, Indore, thereafter submitted his Ph.D thesis to RGPV Bhopal in 2016. He has received Young Scientist Award in 2012 from M. P. Council of Science and Technology. Presently he is working as associate professor in civil engg. dept. of IES,IPS Academy Indore.
