This work aims at design and implementation of fully automated system to estimate the percentage of garbage coverage in water terrain using image processing technique. If garbage coverage is greater than 80% then automatically the email with image attachment will be sent to concerned personnel to take the necessary action. In order to increase the stability, performance & effectiveness of the proposed system the SMS will also be automatically delivered to the concerned in order to take an immediate action on the garbage.
