The performance of any machining system is highly affected by the factors such as variability of processing times, occurrence of random failures, randomness of repair times, etc.. The aim of the present book is to develop and analyze machine repair problems using queueing theory. Various techniques of queueing theory to tackle modelling aspects of machining system are used to assess various performance characteristics for industrial systems working in machining environment. The book addresses the problems related to machining systems and encourages the researchers and practitioners to pursue further research in this direction.
