Renewable energy sources are essential to use as an alternative to all fossil fuel energy sources that are not environmentally friendly. Out of all the renewable energy sources, solar energy is the most widely used for electricity generation. Electric-powered vehicles, which are the most efficient, are gaining popularity in the automobile industry. The main focus of the study is to minimise the use of a series of batteries in electric vehicles and enhance the use of solar energy. The basic principle of the proposed vehicle is that the energy drawn from the solar panel is directly channelled to the motor. The power generated by the solar panel is measured using a power sensor. The vehicle works on dual-mode power draws and consists of a battery that charges simultaneously while operating. If the climatic conditions are not suitable for the solar panel to generate power and if the user wants to operate the vehicle at that time then there is an alternative source of power through the battery which is being utilised. This research focuses on the simulation of various components, namely, solar panels, Arduino Boards, current sensors, H-Bridges, batteries, and DC motors for the vehicle.
